We have been notified by PATRICIA CORNETT FARLEY, daughter of our shipmate, McKINLEY CORNETT, Jr. that McKinley passed away in August of 2006 at age 82. We have been notified that our shipmate, GERALD McDONALD of Terry,MS, passed away at home on July 20, 2011 at age 89. Gerald's obituary and a beautiful video tribute, showing photos of Gerald and his wonderful family, have been added to Gerald's page.

We are saddened to notify you that MARIE SALDUTTI wife of Vince Saldutti, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2011 at age 90. Marie had been in a nursing home suffering from dementia since March. Vince and Marie had been married for 68 years.

We have been notified by TED GALLIGAN, grandson of our shipmate, Yeoman Chief Petty Officer ROBERT L. GALLIGAN that Robert passed away in 2009 at age 88, after a long battle with leukemia. We have been notified by ALICE MAKINO, daughter of our shipmate, VITO BRIATICO that Vito passed away on April 15th, 2011. Vito's passing was very unexpected and quick, as he had been healthy and active right up to that time.  Alice said that her dad really enjoyed re-connecting with everyone at the reunions that he was able to attend. She and her husband were able to join him in Philadelphia and they really enjoyed getting to meet everyone. Vito's Page has been added to the Roster section in his memory.

We have been notified by JOE BARTOLOMEI, Jr., son of our shipmate, JOE BARTOLOMEI that Joe passed away in 1996. Joe Sr. told his son many stories about his experiences aboard the Lee, which included the entire time in the Pacific, from 1943 to 1945. Joe's Page has added to the Roster section.
